Quality and Risk Management Officer
Larry Eckersley is Freese and Nichols’ Quality and Risk Management Officer, leading the continuous improvement of internal processes to enhance project quality, efficiency and on-time delivery. During his more than three decades at Freese and Nichols, he served as Chief Operating Officer for five years, and he has overseen expansions of our Construction Services, Program Management and Transportation disciplines. His experience covers all aspects of bidding, contract administration and construction management. He served as Construction Manager on a variety of major projects, including the $107 million Central Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion for the Trinity River Authority.
Before joining Freese and Nichols in 1990, Larry worked for the City of Dallas Water Utilities department for 10 years in its Construction Management group. Larry currently serves on the University of North Texas College of Engineering Advisory Board, and he holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.
