FEMA Announces Flood Mitigation Assistance Program for Fiscal Year 2022
This month, FEMA released the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for its Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) program. FMA provides grant funding for projects that reduce or eliminate the risk of repetitive flood damage to buildings insured by the NFIP. For fiscal year 2022, FMA will provide $800 million in grants nationwide.
