Holly Ahumada Receives NSPE New Professional of the Year Award

Congratulations to Holly Ahumada, Stormwater, Fort Worth, for receiving the 2022 New Professional of the Year Award from the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE).

This award seeks to recognize the outstanding contributions of young engineers during the early years of their career.

Holly specializes in stormwater and floodplain management, as well as the mitigation of flooding issues. She currently serves as the President-Elect for the Fort Worth Chapter of NSPE-TX and has supported various roles within the MATHCOUNTS program. Outside of her work as a licensed professional engineer and certified floodplain manager, Holly stays involved with the League of Women Voters of Denton.

In 2021, Holly was also recognized as NSPE-TX’s Young Engineer of the Year and received the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) Van Trump Award for her service to the TSPE Fort Worth Chapter.
