Elliot Poduska Strengthens Stormwater Expertise and Presence in San Antonio
Freese and Nichols, Inc. expands its stormwater team with the addition of Elliot Poduska as a Senior Project Manager helping expand the stormwater practice in the San Antonio area. For more than 17 years, Elliot has been a full-service planning, design and construction engineering consultant managing LEED Design and Green Globes standards for a variety of stormwater-related projects for San Antonio and Central Texas. He now brings deep local technical stormwater expertise to the Freese and Nichols team and clients.
Elliot has extensive experience working directly with owners and community members affected by stormwater infrastructure projects, often leading civil engineering portions of design charrettes. He has worked with major area clients such as CPS Energy, SAWS, SARA, City of San Antonio, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), and other regional municipalities doing stormwater treatment, detention, and alternate vehicle usage. He also has designed sanitary sewer collection systems, water transportation systems, streets, drainage, detention facilities, site grading and dry utilities in San Antonio, Bexar County, Zapata County and South Texas.
“Elliot brings significant stormwater design experience and deep roots in the San Antonio area,” said Krista Melnar, Principal and Stormwater Practice Leader. “We’re excited to bring his local knowledge and technical skills to our clients in the region.”
Elliot received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University – Kingsville.
