SAME Chapters Honor Freese and Nichols Members from Fort Worth and New Orleans

Freese and Nichols’ Kiara Horton, Water Resources Design, New Orleans, and Christine Jacoby, Business Development, Fort Worth, were each recognized by the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) for their efforts and impacts in the organization.

Kiara received the 2023 SAME ‘Outstanding Member of the Year’ Award from the Mobile Post. She has served as treasurer since 2022, and this recognition is a testament to her outstanding dedication and excellent work in her role.

Christine received the 2023 SAME ‘Young Member of the Year’ Award from the Fort Worth Post. She was recognized at the organization’s January monthly luncheon, and Ardita Dushi, Business Development, Dallas, ended her term as President and passed the gavel to the incoming president. Christine has been actively involved with the organization since 2019 and has been a member for more than 10 years. She has served as both Membership Vice President and Young Member Vice President, and in 2023, she served as Vice President/Programs Director.
