Hunt, Ostrowski Named to South Carolina Industry Leadership Roles

Forest Hunt

Two members of our Greenville team are taking on leadership roles in local and state-level professional organizations in South Carolina, contributing to our firm’s growth in the region.

Forest Hunt, Freese and Nichols Transmission and Utilities engineer and Associate, was recently installed as Vice Chair of the Water Environment Association of South Carolina (WEASC) Blue Ridge Foothills District. In this role, Forest will support the district’s mission to preserve and protect the water environment of Anderson, Greenville, Oconee, Pickens and Spartanburg Counties.

Jenelle Ostrowski, Freese and Nichols Program Management project manager, joined the Board of Directors for the American Public Works Association South Carolina Chapter (APWA SC) Upstate Branch, supporting public infrastructure throughout the state’s northwestern region.

Jenelle Ostrowski

Jenelle also serves as the Community Involvement Chair for APWA SC. In this role, she will lead statewide efforts to create volunteer opportunities for members to give back to their local communities through public works-focused service projects.

“Community service has been part of who I am since I was a teenager in Key Club,” Jenelle said. “My first opportunity to give back was through Adopt-a-Highway, where I learned a simple but lasting lesson: service is about showing up, taking care of your community, and leaving things better than you found them.”

This involvement reflects Freese and Nichols’ Serve Always value and our commitment to the South Carolina infrastructure community.
